What is AVMax?

AVMax is a proprietary automated valuation model designed for use by mortgage professionals in determining the value of residential properties. AVMax was created by a team of modeling experts to provide the most accurate estimate of market value based on analysis of location, time, and real estate characteristics from property sales records and associated data sources.

How does AVMax work?

Once the user request is made for a specific property valuation, the AVMax model retrieves multiple sales records for a sample of properties to develop results that can be applied to similar properties of the same type in the same market area.

How accurate is AVMax?

AVMax utilizes proprietary screening and weighting mechanisms to improve valuation accuracy. A comp-based methodology combined with its ability to handle geographic anomalies enables AVMax to achieve a new standard in AVM precision.

What methods of analysis does AVMax use for its reports?

AVMax uses specific formulation and calibration techniques, which enable the tool to screen data for missing or out-of-range occurrences and inconsistencies, further improving data accuracy and stability.

What is the coverage area?

AVMax is applicable to any residential property for which adequate market information is available in the market area. AVMax has coverage in all 50 states. If key data is missing or the statistical process finds the data to be inconsistent or unreliable, AVMax will not return a report for that particular request.

What is the "hit-rate" of AVMax?

Hit-rates, or the percentage of returned properties as compared to submitted properties, varies based on a number of factors and can often be misleading. Therefore hit rates should be considered in combination with other metrics. We believe the most valuable factor is the "usable" hit rate, which takes into consideration the accuracy and confidence score of market value estimates. AVMax consistently returns among the highest usable hit-rates in the industry.

Has AVMax been tested?

AVMax has been fully tested under a variety of conditions, meeting all accuracy requirement standards for deployment in client use. This has been achieved through a series of intensive statistical diagnostics and studies where value estimates are compared to actual values of the same property.

How is AVMax priced?

AVMax generates full reports for single use and line-item reports for batch processing. Pricing is based on monthly usage. Discounts are available for higher volumes. We would be delighted to discuss pricing options that fit your particular needs.

What info does your website collect?

When you visit our website you do so without revealing your identity.  Personal information is not collected without your knowledge.  Information tracked and retained by AVMax is generic and not individually identifiable.

Does your site require cookies?

Our website uses cookies to validate you when you log into our site, but AVMax does not store personally identifiable information in your cookies nor track your activities using cookies.
